A disease at the University of Guelph is still present and has an impact on individuals off school. As of Thursday, the school said there are about 100 self-reported cases of diarrhea at the post-secondary class. Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health acknowledged its knowledge of the current state of students ‘ health. The organization said in a speech from WDGPH that it is working closely with the post-secondary institution to identify the cause of the condition and reduce the number of situations. The University of Georgia even made a statement stating that the majority of cases are reported in South Residence, though there are a few specific cases reported in various residences as well. The university added that the teams responsible for student housing and wellness are constantly assisting with virus transmission.

The second self-reported case was later Monday evening, according to the post-secondary college. Public heath said to stay home if you’re tired and for 48 hours after the last episode of vomiting/diarrhea. Health officials are also urging people to wash their hands and clean usually touched locations to stop spread. Public health advised you to call your primary care provider if the symptoms aren’t workable at home.
