The Nigerian Falconets booked their spot in the final qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup following a 4-0 victory over Rwanda at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Saturday. Under the leadership of Moses Aduku, they won the second qualifying round with a 5-0 aggregate score. Precious Oscar started the scoring for Nigeria in the 13th minute, followed by Tumininu Adeshina who increased the lead just seven minutes later. In the second half, Janet Akekoromwei and substitute Taiwo Afolabi contributed two more goals for the Falconets. They will meet either Senegal or Algeria in the final qualifying round.
