2026 World Cup: I can’t imagine tournament without Neymar in Brazil’s squad – Mbappe

Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe, has declared that he cannot imagine the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament without Neymar in Brazil’s squad.

Recall that Brazil’s national football team, Carlo Ancelotti, had announced his squad to face France and Croatia this month.

Ancelotti, however, didn’t include Neymar’s name in the squad as he insisted that the Santos forward is not yet 100% fit.

Reacting to his omission from the squad, Neymar admitted he was sad by Ancelotti’s decision not to include his name.

However, speaking on the development, Mbappe also expressed confidence that Neymar will be ready to be part of the Brazil squad to play in the World Cup in the summer.

“Neymar is Neymar. The World Cup is for world stars, and he will be there.

“I can not imagine a World Cup without Ney, but I won’t go against Ancelotti.

“I’m sure Ney will get ready,” Mbappe told Ge.Globe, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
