2027: Nigerians will choose results over noise – APC National Chairman, Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, has predicted the voting pattern of Nigerians in 2027, stressing that they would choose results over noise.

Yilwatda made the remark while dismissing the attempts by opposition parties to use President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms as a tool against the ruling party.

He spoke at the Progressive Governors’ Forum-Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit in Abuja with the theme m, ‘Taking Renewed Hope to the Grassroots: One Party, One Message, One Mobilisation Framework’.

Yilwatda said, “In 2027, Nigerians will not vote noise. Instead, they will vote based on the results they see on the streets and throughout the country.

“The opposition always hopes that our tough reforms will make us weaker, instead of keeping the party focused. They are waiting for temporary discomfort. They don’t recognize the long-term advantages this country will get from these projects.”

The APC national chairman highlighted major achievements in infrastructure under the Tinubu administration, like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, the Badagry-Sokoto Road, which includes more than 300 irrigation dams, the Red Line Rail, and the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline.

“Good governance without communication is invisible. I’ve visited many states. I’ve seen some really nice projects and cool things being created, but they stay hidden and aren’t shared with others.

“Communication without structure is noise. Politics without grassroots mobilisation is organised defeat. That’s why we have this structure we’re building, and I know today is the start of our success,” Yilwatda said.
