Completesports reports that Galatasaray has made a formal offer to Serie A titleholders Napoli for Victor Osimhen. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Turkish Super Lig champions have made an initial bid of €50 million plus an additional €5 million for striker Victor Osimhen. However, Napoli is seeking the complete €75 million release clause stated in Osimhen’s contract. Romano mentioned on X, “Galatasaray have initiated a €50 million plus €5 million offer for Victor Osimhen, but Napoli is asking for more.” “Osimhen is eager to return to Gala, but the deal is contingent on negotiations between the clubs. Meanwhile, Al Hilal is still in the running, intending to trigger the €75m release clause, although there has yet to be an agreement with Victor.” At 26 years old, he was on loan at Galatasaray last season after his desired transfer to Chelsea did not materialize. The Nigerian player scored 26 goals and provided five assists in 30 league matches for Okan Buruk’s team last season. He played a key role in helping the club achieve the domestic double, winning both the Turkish League and the Turkish Cup. – By Adeboye Amosu
