In the space of a few weeks, Ziguinchor was the scene of three murder cases that shocked the population by their brutality but also their often trivial origin. All these crimes, according to the police, have occurred following simple altercations. The central commissioner Thiam, in charge of public security, confirmed that the three recent homicides are not linked to acts of banditry or theft, but rather to degenerated interpersonal conflicts.
