Ronaldo shares his predictions about Messi’s future in the 2026 World Cup.

Ronaldo Nazário, the former striker for Real Madrid, has expressed his belief that Lionel Messi will perform “very well” for the Argentina national team in the upcoming FIFA World Cup. This comment came after Ronaldo discussed Messi’s performance in the Club World Cup this summer, where he guided Inter Miami to the Round of 16 in the U.S. Unfortunately, Messi’s team was unable to defeat Paris Saint-Germain, losing 4-0 and exiting the tournament. In an interview with DSports, Ronaldo affirmed that the 38-year-old still has a lot to contribute to the sport. “I’ve been following Leo [Lionel Messi] in the Club World Cup matches, and he continues to bring valuable skills to the game,” Ronaldo remarked. “He has a great ability to read the game.” When he loses possession, he makes an effort to regain it. “I notice that Messi is performing exceptionally, and I have faith that he will be in great condition for the 2026 World Cup.”
