Omisore stated that he is not informed about Adeleke’s supposed intentions to join the APC.

Iyiola Omisore, the former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed on Wednesday that he is not aware of any intentions from Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to join the APC. In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Omisore rejected any knowledge of such plans regarding Governor Adeleke’s potential membership with the APC. He stated, “I am not aware, but for someone to join a party, there should be a welcoming attitude from the party members. They need to come to the home because politics is very local.” On Wednesday, Omisore commented on the rumors regarding Adeleke’s potential move to join the APC in Osun State. When questioned if Adeleke’s membership would bolster the APC, Omisore did not affirm or deny it. He mentioned that there is nothing inappropriate about Adeleke joining the party, but he warned that such a transition should not be treated lightly, especially not in the context of social media. He added that the current situation in the state is becoming unstable due to rising tensions. “He mentioned that the members of the PDP are having difficulty joining the APC as well.”
