According to Completesports, Paul Onuachu is likely to be out of action for approximately four weeks because of an ankle injury. Onuachu suffered the injury in a pre-season exhibition match. Trabzonspor announced the injury in a statement on their official site. Additionally, Russian team FC Rostov has signed Nigerian youngster Ajasa. As a result of the injury, significant swelling was observed in the bones of Onuachu’s left ankle, along with a partial damage to the ligaments in that ankle. “Our medical staff has started treatment,” the club announced. The 31-year-old player recently transferred to Trabzonspor from Southampton, a club in the Sky Bet Championship, last month. Onuachu may now be sidelined for the team’s initial matches of the season against Kocaelispor, Kasimpasa, Antalyaspor, and Samsunspor. During the 2023/24 season, he was loaned to Trabzonspor, where he netted 15 goals in 21 league matches. By Adeboye Amosu.
