​Kwara United is set to compete in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, according to their General Manager, Badawiy, who emphasized that the team aims to compete rather than merely participate.    

 

The General Manager of Kwara United, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, has given Completesports an exclusive statement. The Harmony Boys are committed to representing Nigeria well in the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup, as stated by Badawiy. He highlighted that Kwara United is not participating in the continental tournament just to fill spaces but aims to be a commendable representative for Nigeria. This was expressed by the GM of Kwara United, Mallam Bashir Badawiy. Badawiy, a past coordinator for Rivers United, gave an interview to Completesports. At the recently finished NNL Super 8 Playoffs held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, com was present on the sidelines. Our goal is to leave a lasting impression — to positively represent Nigeria, to bring pride to Kwara State, and particularly to honor my Governor, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, along with our supporters. Ultimately, we aim to serve as exemplary ambassadors for Nigeria during the competition. Kwara United’s fourth continental appearance.
