Hearn believes that Joshua and Paul will put on an impressive match.

British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn thinks that a match between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul would be an exciting event. After defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision last month, Paul has been seeking a fight with AJ. Meanwhile, Joshua has not fought since his loss to Daniel Dubois last September, which ended his four-fight winning streak following consecutive defeats to Usyk. In a conversation with talkSPORT, Hearn mentioned that the possibility of a matchup between Paul and Joshua appears to be getting more likely. It seems that AJ is set to face off against Jake Paul. If he keeps his promises and genuinely desires the match – while it’s easy to claim, ‘Anthony Joshua has a weak chin and I’ll knock him out’ – the fight should take place. “It’s fantastic that Tyson Fury is claiming that Jake Paul will emerge victorious.” I might be going a bit crazy, but if they genuinely want that fight, I contacted Nakisa earlier and we plan to talk next week. “If they really desire the fight, we can create one that will achieve the highest viewership in the sport.” Disregard Canelo vs Terence Crawford; it barely scratches the surface compared to, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, AJ facing Jake Paul. “If you want to achieve the biggest ticket sales in boxing, we can arrange it, but I urge you to be cautious about what you ask for.”
