President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sanctioned the complete disbursement of bonuses and allowances for the Super Falcons ahead of their final match at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations against Morocco. Shehu Dikko, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), announced that all entitlements have been approved for prompt payment to players and officials. Dikko emphasized that this initiative reflects the renewed dedication to Nigerian athletes under Tinubu’s leadership, stating, “We are establishing a sports administration founded on dignity, trust, and mutual benefit.” He added that future generations will recognize President Tinubu’s reforms in the sports arena. On Saturday, Nigeria and Morocco will compete in the final at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat. Morocco aims to secure their first WAFCON title after being defeated by South Africa’s Banyana Banyana three years ago. Meanwhile, the Super Falcons are striving for their tenth championship title. The match will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
