The PASTEF-UCAD Coordination has officially rejected the invitation of the Patriotic Youth of Senegal (JPS) to a meeting scheduled for July 28, marking an unprecedented tension between the two structures. In a statement the students denounced a “breach of trust” and promised revelations at an extraordinary press conference. A refusal without appeal. “PASTEF UCAD formally declines this invitation”, reads the text, a copy of which was sent to the national press. The reason? A malaise that has been accumulating for months: “The complicit silence of the JPS in the face of the exclusions suffered by our activists seals a betrayal.
