​Affaire Lat Diop: a new front a vu le jour at Guédiawaye to demand his immediate release 

  A new front regrouping the Apr party (Alliance for the Republic, former ruling party), and other opposition parties and movements seen on the day in Guédiawaye (in the Dakar suburb). This new platform met yesterday, Sunday, at Wakhinane Nimzatt to demand the immediate and unconditional release of Lat Diop, former Director General of the Lonase, and other detainees including Badara Gadiaga, Bachir Fofana. According to its members, their “detention is arbitrary”.. This platform of protest has brought together former leaders such as former minister Aminata Lô Dieng, former ambassador Abdoulaye Fall, the president of the M2 movement, and Laïla Sow, coordinator of the Front de Résistance Platform against the Dérives of the Diomaye Faye regime. According to the newspaper Libération, in its edition of this Monday, the members of said platform are of the opinion that no serious element justifies the continuation of Lat Diop in detention.
