President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has honored the Super Falcons with monetary awards, housing gifts, and national accolades following their victory in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Every player on the team will receive $100,000, while each team staff member will get $50,000. Each team member will be awarded a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Estate along with the national honor of the Order of the Niger (OON). Tinubu welcomed the players and their officials at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock on Monday. The Super Falcons secured the WAFCON title for a remarkable 10th time after defeating the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco 3-2 in a closely contested final held in Rabat on Saturday.
