The President of the National Assembly of Senegal, Elhadji Malick Ndiaye, took part in the opening ceremony of the 6th World Conference of Presidents of Parliaments in Geneva on Tuesday. Organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in partnership with the United Nations, the meeting focused on the theme: “The world in turmoil: parliamentary cooperation and multilateralism for peace, justice and prosperity for all. I’m not sure. During this meeting, Mr El Malick Ndiaye will deliver a speech in plenary session to present Senegal’s vision on the major parliamentary issues, including democracy, justice and peace. He also participated in several thematic panels and held bilateral meetings with the IPU Secretary-General and counterparts, with the aim of strengthening interparliamentary cooperation and consolidating Senegalese parliamentary diplomacy.
