Tina Mba, Daniel Etim Effiong, and Beverly Osu Bring an Ancestral Story to the Screen in “The Serpent’s Gift” | Check Out the Trailer

What transpires when a person passes away and leaves behind more than just money? The trailer for” The Serpent’s Gift” is already setting the scene for the psychological thriller” The Serpent’s Gift,” which pulls no punches.
The Serpent’s Gift, which was directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Winifred Mena–Ajakpovi, has a moral undertone, ancient revelations, and those tense family secrets that fail to be forgotten. Ijeoma, the young wife of a prominent businessman, is at the center of the narrative, whose presence causes the entire family to fall apart after his sudden passing. A gripping stories of power, revelation, and the politicians of inheritance is unfolded, all rooted in Igbo custom and the tensions between what is witnessed and what is unknown.
With Linda Ejiofor–Suleiman, Beverly Osu, Ric Hassani, Daniel Etim Effiong, and Imem King in the cast, Tina Mba dominates the screen ( as always ). Beyond the encounters we know, it’s the moral weight of the narrative and its starkly Nigerian environment that sets this movie aside.
The Serpent’s Gift, which was completely shot in Nigeria, promises a wealthy, visual experience that touches on topics we frequently hear about, from religious admonitions to family ties, and the intricate dance between tradition and ambition.
It has a disturbing quality. It’s lovely. Additionally, it’s upcoming to theaters globally starting August 29.
