2027: Igbokwe warns Obi, Atiku, and others to stop dreaming of the presidency, stating that Tinubu will be in power until 2031.

As the 2027 general elections approach, All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Joe Igbokwe has advised those thinking about running for president to abandon their ambitions. This follows rumors that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate from the 2023 election, and Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are planning a coalition to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming election. In a post on his official Facebook page, Igbokwe warned potential presidential candidates to reconsider, asserting that Tinubu will remain in office until 2031. Igbokwe emphasized that the president requires a second term to “set the records straight.” He stated: “If any candidate is hoping to win the presidential elections in 2027, I suggest they abandon that idea until 2031. PBAT is meant to stay in power until 2031.” It will take him eight years to clarify the situation.
