(Black PR Wire) Indianapolis, IN — The Madam Walker Legacy Center (MWLC) is excited to share the news of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Mike Epps being elected as members of its board. The addition of these individuals demonstrates the Center’s dedication to broaden its national initiatives and enhance the prominence of this historic site as a cultural hub. Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, a celebrated artist with 13 Grammy Awards to his name, is not only a talented singer, songwriter, and producer but also a devoted advocate for the arts and an honored resident of Indianapolis. He is inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and is uniquely recognized as the only music producer to have won Producer of the Year four times, with three of those awards won in a row. In 2022, he was the main attraction at the MWLC’s 95th anniversary event and was honored with an induction into the Madam Walker Legacy Center Walk of Fame. His strong connections to the city combined with his worldwide impact on music position him as a compelling supporter of the Center’s goal to motivate, educate, and empower. Mike Epps, a renowned comedian, actor, and producer, also originates from Indianapolis and has continually leveraged his influence to support and elevate his hometown.
