A 51-year-old Senegalese national with no fixed domicile was brutally assaulted in Grenada (Spain). The altercation allegedly began after the victim demanded payment for a cleaning job she had performed for the aggressor. Le premier jour, reports “Les Échos”, his remuneration would have been paid normally. But the next day, instead of giving him his money as agreed, the young Spaniard would have given him an inferior amount, which the Senegalese refused, and he left the place. Soon after, the attacker came to find him, accompanied by several people and a dog of a potentially dangerous breed. He struck the victim in the head with an iron bar and left her unconscious, while his dog bit her several times. A Senegalese compatriot of the victim managed to intervene and transport him to the hospital of trauma of Grenada, where he was treated for serious injuries. The investigation conducted by the Homicide Brigade of the Judicial Police of Grenada allowed the identification and rapid arrest of the main suspect.
