Le Poste de police de Diamaguène Sicap Mbao carried out, on 7 August 2025 at around 9h, the interpellation of an individual for possession of two goats dead by suffocation in view of the sale of their meat unfit for consumption. According to the police, it was during a security patrol that the police noticed the individual on a motorcycle “Jakarta”, unloading two heavy bags and suspects. “Intrigued, they proceeded to a check and discovered inside the two goats, which had not been slaughtered. Interrogated, the man explained that he had bought the animals for 60 000 FCFA from an unknown person to resell them”, explains the same source. He was placed in custody and an investigation is underway to determine responsibility.
