Wikki Tourists triumphed over Niger Tornadoes to earn their place in the semi-finals of GusauAhlan 2025.  

Wikki Tourists displayed a commanding performance at the Lafia Township Stadium, defeating Niger Tornadoes 3–0 and advancing to the semi-finals of the 2025 GusauAhlan Preseason Tournament. The Pride of Bauchi quickly took control of the match, scoring in the sixth minute when Sadiq Abdullahi capitalized on a smart pass from John Taiwo and finished with precision. Shortly after, they increased their lead when the Tornadoes’ goalkeeper fouled a Wikki player in the penalty area, leading to Dickson Ironsi successfully converting the penalty. Wikki then maintained their dominance with effective passing and strong defensive play, preventing their opponents from threatening. In the second half, Coach Abdu Maikaba made multiple substitutions to allow more players to participate. Ahmed Abubakar Lamido, who came on as a substitute, quickly influenced the game by scoring Wikki’s third goal in the 75th minute, effectively sealing their victory. Following the match, Maikaba commended the tournament for helping to refine strategies and discover emerging talents. Klinshak Longbak, the top performer of the day, was awarded Man of the Match by former Technical Adviser Azeez Audu Mohammed. With this decisive victory, Wikki Tourists advance to the semi-finals with a surge of confidence, aiming to continue their impressive preseason performance.
