The storms announced on the country this Tuesday have caused a drama in the region of Kaolack. At Médina Thiamène, in the department of Nioro, three children were struck by lightning. Two of them have tragically lost their lives, while the third is struggling between life and death, reports Anacim. This incident once again reminds us of the extreme danger of electrical phenomena linked to storms. The authorities and meteorological services continue to advise the population to take all the necessary precautions to take shelter from the first signs of atmospheric disturbances. After passing through Kaolack, the system moved to the regions of Diourbel, Fatick, Mbour et Thiès.
