​Urgent: Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko will spend the day of tomorrow with the national private sector to revive the economy

As these lines reach you, the head of the Government of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko, and the senior leaders of the private sector organisations met on Wednesday in the framework of the national transformation agenda Senegal 2050. This approach is part of a governmental effort to find lasting solutions to the concerns of workers and employers, notably as regards working conditions and pay. It is attended by fifteen organizations, including: the CIS, the CNP, the CNES, the MDES, the CDES, the GES, the UNCOIS JAPPO, the UNCOIS YESSAL, the CNE, the UFCE, the CCIAD, the UNCCIAS, the UNCM, the ACIS, the CNCR. This meeting, which will address the economic issues of the country, takes place in a context of social tension and major economic challenges.
