Bougar Diouf, President of the Union of Pan-Africanists of Senegal (UPS) and member of the coalition “Diomaye Président”, was summoned to the Special Division of Cybersecurity (DSC) for statements deemed defamatory and subversive against the Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko and other political figures. This summons, scheduled for Friday 22 August 2025 at 9 o’clock, follows a complaint lodged by Ndéné Mbodji, director general of the Centre des Œuvres Universitaires de Dakar (COUD), who accuses Diouf of having slandered him by attributing propos.
