The President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, spoke on the debates on relations between the Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and the Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. For him, the divergences of method must not be confused with a rupture. El Malick Ndiaye considers that one of the major challenges of the current mandate is justice. “But in addition to wanting justice for all, the political project must go forward”, he insisted. According to him, this project should not be betrayed, “beginning with the head of state himself”. The objective remains clear: “to make Sonko the President of the Republic”, he recalled, stressing the need to preserve a close watch and avoid certain labels or counterproductive proposals. Sonko and Diomaye, two temperaments but the same vision. The President of the Assembly had to clarify the relationship between the two at the summit: ” Sonko faces a visceral hatred of some who do not hide him anymore.
