The President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, addressed on 25 August a message of congratulations to Abass Fall for his election as Mayor of the City of Dakar. “I would like to extend, in my personal name and on behalf of the National Assembly, my warm congratulations to Mr Abass Fall, Minister of Labour and Relations with the Institutions, affectionately known as the ‘166th Deputy’, for his brilliant election as Mayor of Dakar. This victory not only consecrates his constant commitment to the service of the Dakarois, but also his unfailing devotion to the Republic and its institutions. I am convinced that, under his leadership, the capital will experience a new dynamism and development for the benefit of its people. I pray to God to grant him insight and success in the accomplishment of this noble mission at the service of the capital and its citizens.
