Ousseynou Ndiaye, born in 1979 and a pharmacy salesman, was found dead on Tuesday at around 14 hours, in a water basin in the Médinatoul district of Diourbel (approximately 145 km from Dakar). The victim would have found the death by drowning, according to the first statements. It is at around 14 hours that the commissariat of Diourbel has been alerted of the discovery of a corps flottant dans le bassin des eaux fluviales de Medinatoul. The police, dispatched on the spot, have found that it was Ousseynou Ndiaye, reports the journal Libération ce mercredi.. The victim was found lying on her back, covered in a red cloth. No signs of struggle or injury were detected. According to witnesses, the man had lost his life after being drowned in the basin, before being rescued by the riverside. The firefighters then took the body to the morgue of the Heinrich Lubke Regional Hospital in Diourbel.
