Pape Mamadou Seck died on Wednesday, according to sources. Political activist known for his involvement with the Pastef party, he had in the past stayed several times in the special pavilion of the hospital, in the context of judicial proceedings that had provoked debates. In a message published on social networks, Waly Diouf Bodiang paid tribute to him, recalling “his long stays at the special pavilion on the basis of a fallacious accusation” and saluting “his dignity in the fight for change”. ” I bow to his memory and extend my condolences to his family and to all Pastef. Farewell my brother. Your sacrifice will not be in vain”, he wrote.
