The Ministry of Education has officially announced that the 2025/2026 school year will begin on Monday 6 October 2025 at 8am for teachers and administrative staff. This decision marks the start of the pedagogical preparations, allowing the educational teams to finalize the planning, to organize the use of time and to prepare the reception of the students. The date of the students’ return has not yet been specified. However, this recovery could be disturbed by the prolongation of the rainy season, expected until November according to the meteorological services. These climatic conditions may complicate access to certain schools, particularly in areas prone to flooding. The authorities will have to anticipate these challenges to ensure a fluid income, despite the weather.
