Inheritor of the Office des Postes et Télécommunications, the Société nationale La Poste, with its subsidiaries Postefinances and EMS Sénégal, has progressively lost its vitality, under the combined effect of a failing governance, an insufficiently regulated increased competition, an insufficient modernisation and a financial imbalance that has become chronic.
