The Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS) in Dakar, which is part of the Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs (OCRTIS), has put an end to a drug trafficking network operating from an apartment on the tenth floor of a building in Plateau. Five suspects, including the alleged mastermind Dame Amar and her Moroccan partner, were presented this Thursday morning before the Dakar High Court, according to Seneweb sources. A network dismantled in the heart of Dakar. The police operation, carried out in the night of 2 September 2025 around 00h30, led to the arrest of five individuals in the framework of an investigation into a vast network of narcotics trafficking in the Senegalese capital. The suspects have been identified as follows: Dame Amar, 43 years old, presenting herself as Directeur Général Transport AMAR, considered as the brain of the organization.
