In the framework of the ministerial reshuffle announced this Saturday in Senegal, five new figures are entering the government. Me Bamba Cissé, known for having been one of the lawyers of Ousmane Sonko, heir to the Ministry of the Interior. Member of the pool of lawyers who defended the leader of Pastef in several judicial cases, he is distinguished by his legal expertise and his closeness to the Prime Minister, whom he has supported notably in the case of Adji Sarr. Cheikh Niang, a veteran diplomat, is the head of the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs of Senegal. Déthié Fall, a loyal collaborator of the Prime Minister, sees his commitment rewarded with his appointment as head of the Ministry of Infrastructure. Amadou Ba, until then deputy of Pastef, is in charge of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism. Finally, Marie Rose Khady Fatou Faye, Director-General of ADEPME, was promoted to Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, in charge of relations with the institutions and Government spokesperson.
