Nottingham Forest’s head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for December 2024. The Premier League announced his selection in a statement on Friday. This marks the second time in three months that Nuno has received the award and the sixth time in his Premier League career. He has led Forest to second place in the Premier League standings for the first time since 1994, securing five victories in six matches during December and concluding the month with three consecutive clean sheets. Only nine managers in Premier League history have won the award more often than Nuno, who is now tied with Sam Allardyce and Sir Bobby Robson, each with six wins. Nuno previously won the award with Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2018, June 2020, and October 2020, with Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021, and now with Forest in October and December 2024.
