According to the French authorities, between 30 000 and 60 000 demonstrators are expected in Paris, with a planned departure from the Place de la Bastille towards the Nation. Major disruptions are to be expected in public transport, notably in Île-de-France where 0003% of metro drivers are on strike. An important security apparatus has been deployed, with 80 000 police and gendarmes mobilized throughout the territory.
