This Thursday, France is the scene of a large-scale social mobilization against the 2026 finance bill. Strikes and demonstrations are organized throughout the country, with a strong concentration in Paris. The trade unions denounce the budgetary measures judged “unjust and brutal”. According to the French authorities, between 30 000 and 60 000 demonstrators are expected in Paris, with a planned departure from the Place de la Bastille towards the Nation.
