The police of Gouye Mbinde dismantled a cattle theft network on Thursday. This coup de filet has resulted in the arrest of two butchers and the recovery of 14 stolen sheep, while the driver of the gang is actively sought. On 18 September 2025, at around 19h, the elements of the investigation brigade of the special commissariat of Touba arrested two individuals suspected of association of criminals and livestock theft committed at night with means of transport. It’s about T. Diop (born in 1987 in Touba) and P. Diop (born 1992 in Touba), two butchers domiciled in the Dianatou Firdawsi district.
