The Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade of the Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs (Ocrtis) arrested a man in Ngor, near the Casino du Cap-Vert de Ngor (Dakar), in possession of 37 stones of crack and half a gram of cocaine. His arrest took place in the night of 21 to 22 September, around 1h30 du matin. The suspect has been identified as Saliou Bodian, 25, who presents himself as an itinerant merchant and who would be domiciled in Scat Urbam. This operation follows the exploitation of intelligence indicating the existence of a network of trafficking in hard drugs in Ngor, whose leader is a young man nicknamed “L’Absolu”. After establishing contact with him, “Libération” reports that an order of 2.5 g of cocaine, worth 85 000 FCFA, may have been placed. The place of the transaction, the rond-point du Casino du Cap-Vert, had been fixed in advance. It was at the moment of delivery that the suspect was arrested.
