The Direction de l’Emploi du Sénégal has published a communiqué dated 23 September 2025 to inform the public of the formalities to be completed to obtain a “Certificat de chômage”. The document specifies the documents to be supplied to constitute the dossier. It consists of: “a photocopy of the national identity card, a declaration on the legalized honour, a handwritten request addressed to the Director of Employment, a certificate of residence, a power of attorney for the persons represented”.
