​France: A teacher stabbed by a student in the Bas-Rhin 

  On Wednesday morning, a 66-year-old teacher was stabbed in the face by a 14-year-old student at the Robert Schuman de Benfeld College in Bas-Rhin, France. The victim was hospitalized in relative urgency, his days not being in danger. The aggressor, placed in the foyer and known to the establishment for Nazi tags, then stabbed himself and was hospitalized in absolute emergency after being resuscitated on the spot. The rector of the Academy of Strasbourg, Olivier Klein, confirmed the opening of a judicial inquiry and expressed his support for the teachers and the teaching staff. He strongly condemned the attack, stressing that safety in schools is a priority. The Strasbourg prosecutor’s office is in charge of the investigation, and the National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) observes the procedure.
