​Pool judiciaire financier: An international arrest warrant issued against Madiambal Diagne after his flight from Senegal 

  Le journaliste et patron de presse Madiambal Diagne, released from the territory in circumstances still unclear, is now the subject of an international arrest warrant. The Minister also recalls his “attachment to respect for judicial decisions, to transparency and to the presumption of innocence”. In addition to the above, he was also involved in the financing of a number of other projects in the region. In a tweet (X), Madiambal Diagne indicated that he arrived in Paris on 25 September and left Senegal the same evening of the opposition by the Police to his departure for France. “I have had to give myself a few days to prepare my defence. Madiambal Diagne is named in a report by the National Financial Information Processing Unit (CENTIF) concerning a suspected financial transaction amounting to 21 billion FCFA. Moreover, in the context of this case, his wife, presented as the manager of one of his companies, was placed in custody, according to information published in the press. His two sons, also mentioned in the CENTIF report, were arrested: one of them was arrested in Karang on board a Jakarta with a bag of clothes and a sum of one million FCFA.
