Edmonton Elks showcase training staff for 2025 year 

The Edmonton Elks have named their 2025 CFL training team, and the roster features a number of returning eyes. They’ll report to new head coach Mark Kilam, a University of Alberta grad who recently returned to Edmonton after spending 20 years with the Soldiers. Jordan MaksymicThe Edmonton native, who previously served as a film representative and offensive assistant from 2011 to 2013, is the Elks ‘ new offensive coordinator. From 2016 to 2018, he held jobs with Edmonton of pitchers coach and go activity coordinator. Maksymic has also served on the coaching staff for the Redblacks, and he has, most recently, been the B. C. Lions ‘ offensive coordinator since the 2021 season. Demetrious MaxieDemetrious Maxie will be the Elks unique teams consultant, a protective assistant, and will solve the defensive range. From 2016 to 2023, Maxie worked as a defensive line coach and cornerback coach in Edmonton. Last year, he was the defensive line coach for the Grey Cup fighter Toronto Argonauts. Jason TuckerMore makes his first appearance for the Elks as the group’s device manager. The natural and gold’s two-time champion receiver also served as the team’s receivers coach in 2009 and 2010 and in 2010. After spending the last four months with the Lions alongside Jordan Maksymic, Trysten Dyce, Des Catellier, and Danny Nesbitt will take over the running tails. Bob Dyce, the brother of Ottawa Redblacks brain coach, is named Dyce. After spending the last two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders as a particular team and offensive associate as well as a quality control coach, Des Catellier now works for Mark Kilam’s team as a defensive assistant.
