The Mayor of the City of Dakar, Mr Abbas Fall, took part in the 105th meeting of the Bureau of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF), held in Rabat. According to a publication of the City Council on Facebook, this meeting was an opportunity to exchange with the mayors of cities with which Dakar signed conventions and discussed issues and challenges but also future projects. On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr Abbas met Ms Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris and President of the AIMF, accompanied by her team. The discussions focused in particular on the Youth Olympic Games (JOJ) Dakar 2026 and on various projects for the Senegalese capital. The Mayor of Dakar took the opportunity to invite his counterparts to Dakar on the occasion of the JOJ Dakar 2026.
