The militants of the Pastef party, Mandoumbé Diop alias “Lamignou Darou”, 35 years old, a trader domiciled in Yoff, and Serigne Mbaye Diagne called “Boy Dakar”, 35 years old, a trader domiciled in Thiaroye, appeared this Wednesday before the Tribunal des délits flagrants de Dakar. They are prosecuted for propos injurieux envers l’opposition.. The events date back to 27 October 2025, following the dissemination of videos that went viral, made via the TikTok accounts “Lamignou Darou 1912” and “Dakar Bisnes”. The sequence contained proposals deemed contrary to good morals. These statements have led the procureur de la République to instruct the Division spéciale de cybersécurité which, after investigation, arrested the two men. In his video, Lamignou Darou violently attacked opponents who demonstrated for the release of detainees arrested in the framework of the rendition of accounts. He would have called the protesters “prostitutes” and threatened to “castrate the men” who took part in the march. It was in this context that the militant de Pastef was arrested for speeches contrary to good morals, insults through a computer system and threats of castration of an ethnic group. At the bar, Lamignou Darou acknowledged the facts: “I made the video because people had organized a demonstration and made disrespectful remarks towards the Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, our leader.
