Ousmane Sonko is expected in Mauritania this Sunday. The Prime Minister will make a two-day working and friendly visit to Nouakchott.
The aim of this visit, which is marked by friendship and cooperation, is to strengthen the historic links between the two countries and to explore new partnership perspectives, particularly in the energy field.
The two countries have also reached a decisive stage in their energy cooperation with the exploitation of the Grand Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas field, situated on their maritime border.
