The coordinator of the Front for the Defense of the Republic (FDR), Samba Sy, hailed, this Friday, the strong mobilization of the Senegalese during the march of the living forces of the Nation organized at the call of his platform. In the face of a crowd from various horizons, he called for “the union of forces” to confront the regime in place. “I welcome the beautiful mobilization in response to the call of FDR, including movements that are not members of the Front but who have come en masse”, he declared. The latter denounced what he called the “manifest incompetence of the new authorities”, which he accused of having “plunged the country into a multidimensional crisis”. He added: “Everyone knows that Senegal is going through difficult times. The economy is at a standstill, our country is being deconstructed.
