​The Rift Valley fever: discover the figures on the new cases 

  The latest bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene states that the Rift Valley Fever (RVF) is continuing to spread in Senegal, while the Mpox (monkey pox) epidemic remains confined but under close surveillance. Five new infections were recorded on 1 November, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the epidemic to 381. The balance remains stable at 29 deaths, while 312 people are declared cured.. The disease now affects nine regions of the country, with a major foyer in the north. Saint-Louis concentrates the majority of cases: 23 in total, particularly in the districts of Richard-Toll (137), Saint-Louis (76), Podor (37) and Dagana (34). In the other regions most affected, Matam has 24 cases and Louga 18. The centre of the country is not spared with 16 confirmed cases in Fatick, 14 in Kaolack and 9 in Dakar. The regions of Thiès, Tambacounda and Kédougou are registered each two Mpox, the situation is under control.
