On 4 November 2025, the lawyers of the Senegalese journalist Madiambal Diagne deposited a forty-page memorandum before the Court of Appeal of Versailles in the framework of the extradition procedure requested by Senegal. The defence contests the irregularity of the international arrest warrant and considers that their client may not benefit from a fair trial in his country. In view of the magnitude of the arguments presented, the Court decided to put the case to the vote and to give its decision on 25 November 2025.
