Le Pool judiciaire financier (PJF) is preparing to launch, after the truce of judicial vacations, the first au fond hearings in the Woodrose Investment Ltd dossier, directly involving the son of former President Macky Sall. According to the newspaper L’Observateur which gives the information in its page du jour, these hearings are scheduled for 18 and 19 November next. The journal indicated that the first hearing concerned Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye, manager of Woodrose SARL, an Ivorian law firm created in October 2017. According to the National Financial Intelligence Unit (CENTIF), the account of this company at Nsia Bank had received a cash bond of 10 billion CFA francs, with a power of attorney established in favour of Amadou Sall. The hearing of Abdou Karim Mbacké, implicated in a suspicious transaction involving also over 10 billion, is also planned, enchaîne le quotidien du Groupe futurs médias. It recalls that the son of the former President had been summoned last May, but had not appeared, leaving the dossier pending.
