(Black PR Wire) LOS ANGELES, CA – The 8th American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Honors has recently announced the recipients of its annual awards ceremony celebrating outstanding achievements in the film and television industry. The 2026 ABFF Honors, organized by NICE CROWD, is scheduled for Monday, February 16 at the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, with New York Times best-selling author and award-winning comedian KevOnStage as the host. The private, non-televised dinner will unite ABFF award recipients and festival collaborators. This year, the ABFF Honors will give special recognition to the creative team of the film Sinners — an impressive cinematic work by renowned filmmakers Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian, featuring Michael B. Jordan. The film’s creative team features Cinematographer Autumn Durald, Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter, and Production Designer Hannah Beachler. Furthermore, the event will recognize the remarkable Jennifer Hudson, host of The Jennifer Hudson Show, with the Renaissance Award; pioneering director and executive producer Salli Richardson-Whitfield with the Evolution Award; and renowned actor Damson Idris with the Horizon Award.
