Saisie de 108 kg de Chanvre Indien sur la Plage de Mballing, which is a film about a group of traffickers on the run.

In an operation carried out with determination, the Brigade Régionale des Stupéfiants de Thiès, which is part of the Office Central pour la Répression du Trafic Illicite des Stupéfiants (OCRTIS), made a significant seizure of drugs on the beach of Mballing. On Monday 10 November 2025, the agents intercepted four packages of Indian hemp, for a total weight of 108 kilograms. Although the traffickers have managed to escape, the authorities are actively pursuing the search for the interpeller. The intervention took place in the early hours of the morning on the coast of Mballing, an area known to be a potential transit point for narcotics trafficking networks due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Acting on the basis of reliable information, the elements of the brigade have surprised the suspects in full activity of unloading or transporting the packages. However, faced with the arrival of the forces of order, the individuals fled, abandoning on the spot the illicit merchandise. The four packages, carefully packed to avoid detection, were seized and transported to the OCRTIS premises for analysis and inventory.
